Service Benefits
Your safety should not be compromised simply because your daily activities, such as bathing and dressing, are not as easy as they used to be. Our caregiver will provide the personal care services you need the way you want them done to help you make the most of each day!
As individuals age, they may struggle with cooking or simply lose the motivation to prepare three healthy, balanced meals each day. Seniors need proper nutrition to stay healthy and maintain their energy. Anparan staff are available to help with both cooking and reheating/serving meals as needed. Service staff will prepare grocery list, store food safe, and cook or prepare meal on time. As needed, Anparan will help client with grocery shopping.
Anparan will help with light house keeping, dedicated house keeping and cleaning of kitchen, bathrooms, toilets, detailed house cleaning, etc. On deep cleaning on weekly basis only.
Housekeeping Include tidying up only. Excludes cleaning of bathrooms or perform deep cleaning services. However, they are available to provide support with light housekeeping tasks such as changing bed sheets and/or making beds, tidying up a room, taking out the trash and other small jobs that help keep a home clean and organized. Our caregivers are often present at mealtimes as per the schedules assigned and will assist with cleaning the dishes after a client has enjoyed their breakfast, lunch or dinner, our caregivers will complete the task by hand-washing dishes. They’ll also wipe down any dirty counters in order to leave the kitchen neat and clean.
Assistance with Laundry
Laundry is one of those never-ending housekeeping tasks we just can’t avoid, but it can become more difficult with age. Clothing can be heavy and if balance or mobility is an issue, doing the laundry can be challenging or even dangerous for seniors. Our dedicated staff can help clients by completing a load of laundry. This includes washing, drying and folding clothes upon request, or even putting them away in drawers and closets.
What is an Activities of Daily Living?
Activities of Daily Living include basic personal care and other functions that are required for everyday life. This includes the following:
Helping with bathing, washing hair, help with dressing, mobility assistance to clients during daily routines.
Our companion care services to clients provide social interactions with a warm and friendly companionship to improve anyone’s emotional and mental well-being. Companionship will help clients from developing a major health risk, particularly as individuals age, and the companionship of a dedicated in-home caregiver can make a world of difference in their quality of life. Our staff are happy to share conversations and maintain privacy and intergrity our clients value.
Many of our elders want to go to family social gatherings and religious festivals. In any cases, our caregivers can accompany them and provide support as needed. This is both practical and a form of joyful companionship, which is of great benefit to seniors. Our staff are able to accompany seniors to provide assistance they need. This allows seniors to enjoy a change of scenery while getting gentle exercise, helping them feel physically and mentally well. Additional charges apply for transportation.
Managing daily medication can often be complicated for seniors, but our caregivers are able to assist with this task and ensure that prescriptions are taken properly and on time. This may include ensuring that certain pills are given on a full (or empty) stomach, reminding seniors to avoid dairy consumption during certain times of day if on certain medications, and simply alerting clients when it’s time for medication.
Prescription drug safety is an important part of maintaining good health as we age, but it may need some help. We are ready to help. We will order medications for you as prescribed by doctors, organize everything in one place, store all of your medication as directed (typically in a cool, dry place or in the fridge, if taking something like insulin), helping with insulin intake, and review your medication supply regularly. Additional charges apply on medications.
Medical appointments, as we age, become more frequent. Elders often deal with a number of different medical attention based on their health needs: family doctor, an eye doctor, hearing specialist, and others like a geriatrician, and diabetes specialist. If your loved one has chronic pain or issues that requires constant attention, they may see a doctor even more frequently. It can be hard to keep up!
Making an appointment with a doctor and seeing the doctor is often stressful to senior people. We will help with arranging transportation and seeing the doctors as required. Additional charges apply on transportation and time spend with medical appointments.
